The Shrimp Boat Restaurant is resurrected and is opened it's doors Saturday, November 1, 2008. The historic landmark of St. Andrews has been under construction for 2 1/2 years and is now opening. Carrying on the family tradition, Loren Smith, owner and son of the original Shrimp Boat Restaurant owner in the 1050's, has raised the bar on dining in the Gulf Coast area. A Sushi Bar (open).

During my trip last week to NAB, I took a day and went off to Red Rock Canyon. It is about a 45 min drive West from Vegas. I took a trail called Calico Tanks. It was about a 2 hour hike and it was awesome! Make sure to wear good ankle supported shoes if you will be hiking a rocky trail! Web video. graphics.
