Holcomb Ranch Honey and Gifts. 1 Wear a beekeeping suit. 2 If you need a ladder, bee😉 sure it is stable. 3 Spray the bees lightly with a spray bottle of pure water or a mixture of sugar and water. 4 Use a drafting brush to brush the bees into a breathable sack (either burlap or a feed sack work fine). 5 Continue this process allowing the bees to re-swarm as necessary, until you have as many bees as you can get. 6 Close the bag with a piece of twine or bailing wire.
