Mobile shops also visit from time to time to offer a more convenient way of buying clothes, footwear and even sweets! We regularly invite local entertainers to come to The Hollies as well as having a full schedule of activities. However, if you prefer to take things a little easier we have numerous lounges - some with large screen TVs, a sunlounge, garden and a quiet sitting out area for those lovely sunny British Summers! 11/15 Eastmoor Road, Wakefield, WF1 3RZ.

In March 2013 following a visit from the Environmental Health Officers we were awarded 5 Stars, the highest rating, of which we are very proud. As at all the other Warmest Welcome homes, everyone gets a birthday cake, fireworks on Bonfire Night, Christmas presents, and of course the traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings! We offer person-centred care in a homely environment from friendly, well trained, qualified staff, with regular visits from local GPs and a well-equipped medical room. Our care staff are all trained to the relevant NVQ standards but more importantly are all very friendly, patient and have the care and welfare of our residents as their number one priority. We have our own laundry here at The Hollies which together with our team of domestic staff ensure the home is kept spick and span.
