http://thefalconsnest.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I.I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" Robert Frost. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. The library has always been one of our favorite spots, but now that we've been participating in their Summer Reading Program the kids are REALLY loving it! And then spend FOREVER carefully inspecting each toy or book before finally making their decision. This week we ended up with 4 new books!

I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I.I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" Robert Frost. Thursday, June 10, 2010. Boy's Day in NYC. Back in March, Joe took Jack into the city to see a NY Knicks game. Jack is a huge Knicks fan so he was SO excited to go to a live game! They donned their matching headbands and wristbands early in the morning and I didn't see them till LATE that night. They were busy! Throwing...

I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I.I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" Robert Frost. Thursday, September 24, 2009. We never fail to find lots of interesting things while we're there, but yesterday was a plethora of discoveries. There were blue damselflies and red dragonflies. Canadian geese having some lunch in the pond. Sophie wanted to keep one, but I didn't think Joe would appreciate that! I scooped ...

I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I.I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" Robert Frost. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. On our way home from our Seeds and Pods class at the nature center, the kids and I decided to stop at the lake near our house to throw some rocks in. We were taken back by the view when we arrived. The collected their rocks. And let 'em fly! Always a good time! Links to this post. Then heade...

Thursday afternoons are free admission so we've spent quite a few Thursday afternoons there, just poking around, learning and discovering some really cool natural history stuff. Roll out the dough.

I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I.I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference" Robert Frost. Monday, December 21, 2009. We just attended the December class at the Litchfield Historical Society, this time the topic was Fragrant Spices! Silly me wondered how that would be interesting to young kids. Oh how wrong I was! Then the kids made their own pomander balls with clementines and whole cloves. Jack was busily c...

Thursday, June 10, 2010. We don't live in our new neighborhood yet, but Jack has been playing baseball there since April! While he plays on the field, Sophie plays on the playground. And here he is at his first game. Can you tell that he's excited? Pretty rainbow over the field. Links to this post. Boy's Day in NYC.
