HopScotch’s Respite Centre accommodates 12 children per week, 6 boys and 6 girls, or 12 children of the same sex. Children must have no other chance of a holiday this year. Children must be between 7-11 years at the time of the holiday. Children must really want to go on holiday and should be assessed as being able to cope with a week away from home.

The Scottish Conservatives are delighted to announce a donation of 1,200 to Hopscotch, a children’s charity based in Edinburgh that provides respite care for vulnerable children in the West Highlands. The money was raised at an event preceding the Scottish Conservatives’ annual conference in Edinburgh and is enough to enable five children to stay at the retreat for a week.
