Most short hikes were on Tuesday with Pat's Pals - - yes, that's sort of a dumb name, but the alliteration helps me remember. Some dates have? Which means I was not sure which trail or which direction we walked. Some dates have NOT ME at the end - for one reason or another I did not or could not do it. January 3d - from Fletcher's to Georgetown and back, on the C&O Canal towpath.

I'd heard his name - - someone I knew when I was much much younger called him a great "representationalist" painter, or some thing like that.
