The familiar Cheetos logo is there, but something noticeably missing. Or should that be someone? Chester Cheetah, the snack brands signature mascot is nowhere to be seen. Why remains a mystery. Santa really pulled through that evening as I was introduced to a Transforming robot I’d never seen before. Monday, 31 August 2015. Star Wars Force Friday (Non) Countdown. Found in Toys R Us Brislington today, the countdown display for Force Friday this week. Empty space was made anywhere on shelves where Star Wars items were sold. Force Awakens merchandise is set to take over. There was nothing to hide at this point. Saturday, 25 April 2015. Toxie and The Liquorice Tea Experiment, Part I. I also love liquorice, and thought the two would make a great combo product. They sadly don’t in the case of Twinnings Liquorice tea as the product tastes like neither, but more resembling something unsafe for human consumption. The box I once tried during a 60’s Batman evening has been sitting around doing nothing for weeks. But, I think a use has been found for these rejected tea bags! Links to this post. Saturday, 1 August 2015. Rowdy Roddy Piper RIP. Sad news this weekend with the passing of iconic wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper. Whether he was the bad guy or the babyface, Piper never failed to entertain. The moment I recieved the news, I dug out my old action figure I've owned since 91' via my BFF at school and whipped up a couple of skit photos. Thursday, 18 September 2014. Poundland's Possible New Mascot. Whilst on a random visit to the local Poundland, I discovered this gem of a 3in action figure bootleg. Judging by the head crest design, it looks to be carbon copied from some Power Rangers/Super Sentai incarnation or other. The articulation of the figure is pretty much similar to the basic mould used for Super Sentai, Power Rangers and Masked/Kamen Rider action figures from the mid-90s onwards. . Links to this post.
