Beadblasting is the best way to clean alloy, cast, ect. Small glass or sand beads are forced out under high air pressure through a nozzle inside the blasting cabinet. This will remove all carbon and stains from the cylinder head and ports it gives the head a new appearance, which is not only good for presentation but also for when the cylinder head is assembled the finished product is spotless.

By resizing the big end the Conrod will be back to its original size. Some Conrods have a bronze bush fitted in the small end of the Conrod, this bush also receives alot of stress causing it to wear. After installing a new bush it needs to be bored to the right clearance for the pin that holds the piston on.

Stress and overheating an engine can cause the cylinder head or block to crack. Aslo the wrong coolant in the radiator can cause the head to corrode from the inside out, Which can leak coolant through a small hole in the combustion chamber or valve ports.

Larger seats and valves can be installed into the cylinder head.This will help to increase the volume of air and fuel in and out through the engine, which is used when building perfomance engines.

All engine have a piston to Bore clearance, when the piston rings wear out the Bore can be deglazed with a flex hone brush and a new set of rings can be replaced.When the piston to Bore clearance becomes to large the bore needs to be machined out to the next size up piston and rings. The Borer is mounted to the face of the engine block and set to the required size then machined.
