For a homespun marriage. Wednesday, November 07, 2007. Navy Patent Leather £20=SMUG BRIDE. One job down, 4,218,838 jobs to go. The gorgeous loveliness above ticks every box I had in my head for the older girls:. Comfortable heel height without stilleto or kitten heel (bleurgh). Round toe without scary points or harsh angles. Ankle strap for comfort and ease of style. Of course, at £20 a pair, these sort out the Sister and the Best Friend in one fell swoop. The fact that they are now online.

For a homespun marriage. Monday, December 16, 2013. Goes the Birthday Girl! It’s been four years and my precociously fabulous daughter turned four last week…. And what does a precociously fabulous 4 year old request? A Cow Cake of course. A bit of sugarpaste, a bit of chopstick action to support ears and horns and done! Tasty too, if I do say so myself! For a homespun marriage. Monday, January 28, 2013. Fresh Modern and Fabulously Made! Having been brought up on a rounded diet of dressmaking and quilts, I have a healthy respect for the traditions and stories behind patterns and structures of patchwork. Living around the corner from Bird in Hand. And having a quilting teacher for a mum ensured I am well versed in the Bear’s Paws. And Double Weddings Rings. Abundant in textiles history. Countryside Wedding: Crafting and Copycats
http://countrysideweddings.blogspot.com/2014/03/crafting-and-copycats.html
For a homespun marriage. Wednesday, March 05, 2014. Busy busy and trying not to be busy…. Bump’s due any day now so my version of nesting involves hiring a cleaner to blitz the house and busying myself with sewing, knitting and crochet projects instead. This is my Victory Jumper. An attempt to use 9 balls of Debbie Bliss Rialto 4ply in one pattern… Desperately hoping I don’t run out of yarn as this is supposed to be stash-busting rather than stash-swapping. Lovely pattern from the Royal Sisters blog here.
