http://sowhatdidshesay.blogspot.com/2010/11/enigma-file.html
What Did She Say? Tuesday, 23 November 2010. Instead it's going to be like a little surprise every time you get here. You won't know if it's going to be misery or fun, celebrating or moaning, interesting or dull. I expect you're quite often disappointed anyway, especially about the interesting. Just like the old days. I do have one serious thing to say though. I'm so touched by all your lovely message of support and kindness on my post about my multiple sclerosis. Posted by What She Said. Taking the T out of Twitter. Thursday, 25 August 2011. Lisa - mid-twenties, brandishing a hairdryer. Amy - seventeen, brandishing her pocket money. I love doing your hair. Look how shiny it is now. Oh, er, thanks. I was in a right mood before. Half an hour with your head and I'm all relaxed again. Did I tell you I moved in with my boyfriend last week? But I'm moving out tonight. He bloody made me a packed lunch this morning, didn't he? Cheese and ham' he shouted. Don't you like -. Was it a ring? If you s...

Veggies Rule: The Big Boys Are In Town - G7
http://thevegetariancenter.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-big-boys-are-in-town-g7.html
Monday, June 8, 2015. The Big Boys Are In Town - G7. What’s in the news at the moment …. that is, world news, is the G7 meeting that’s just ended in Germany. A quick definition of G7 = The Group of Seven is an informal bloc of industrialised democracies - the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom - that meets annually to discuss issues such as global economic governance, international security, and energy policy. Next, “International security” - well, th...Well, wit...

Veggies Rule: November 2014

Monday, November 10, 2014. The Use of Wool. This is a story about a little company in N.Z. supplying something that, as far as I'm aware, is not available in the big ol' U.S of A. Well, it's not actually a "story". It's just something that happened that got me thinking. My daughter is extremely environmentally conscious and was absolutely over the moon when she got these nappies. Along with the nappies . oh, all right then, diapers! Now, she's having baby number 2 and I'm about to head off to be with her.

Linens and Royals: Teresa Gil 'Kate' Finished and Catching Up.
http://linensandroyals.blogspot.com/2015/07/teresa-gil-kate-finished-and-catching-up.html
Friday, July 17, 2015. Teresa Gil 'Kate' Finished and Catching Up. All finished and I am so pleased with my efforts. My photo doesn't do this design justice as there is some very pretty beading and I love beads and beading. I do have to make one confession, I am not good with gold thread and only used one strand and not the two listed in the instructions. Much quicker and no snags or breaks. The other side of the small sewing bag. The other side, more brooches. UFO is unfinished object. Beautiful work...

Linens and Royals: Teresa Gil 'Kate' Update and Amazing Apron
http://linensandroyals.blogspot.com/2015/06/teresa-gil-kate-update-and-amazing-apron.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Teresa Gil 'Kate' Update and Amazing Apron. My Teresa Gil cross stitch is looking good, there is a lot of work in the skirt but all easy stitching. The skirt took 4 weeks to stitch and I have to admit to a little bit of unpicking. Always happens when I think something is easy,I relax and make a mistake. I'm always checking and double checking as I stitch so not too much unpicking just enough to be annoying. Then there are lots of aprons like this in my collection. Started wi...
