My Journey Through Gastric Bypass. Friday, March 18, 2011. Here is my one-month picture next to my before picture. Do I look different? My first solid food 15 days post-up. It was an omelette and it was yummy! So much for blogging my entire journey! Here I am six weeks out and this is only my second entry since surgery. Here are some "troubles" I have had:. I have lost 41 lbs! My clothes are baggy. We went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant and I was able to eat without overeating or getting sick.

Sunday, 7 June 2015. Time for a hiatus. Well I've gotten down to 80 kilos which I am very proud of. 25 kilos lost, 5 kilos to go. At this point in time I'm happy to maintain that. Who would have thought at the beginning of this year that I would say I had lost 25 kilos! My regular readers know but I'll share it anyway. At week 10 a benign brain tumour was discovered.
