Monday, January 17, 2011. Family Vacation January 2011. A good night sleep at the Residence Inn, and then off to Los Angeles, California. That little drive is long, but thanks to Jed running nose guard, we were able to make pretty good time. All the way from Las Vegas to Barstow there were signs to eat at Peggy Sue's Diner. We stopped in to eat and what a hoot! This one I will really recommend! A bit of a dive, but great food, service and prices. Too much fun, and lots of entertainment for children.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. My parents stayed the weekend in Las Vegas after my Dad had a conference in St George, so I drove down with some girls from work for the weekend. We decided to go on Thursday and left Friday! It was a spontaneous, quick trip that was well worth it. It was great to see my parents! Most people my age don't go to Vegas to hang out with their Mom and Dad but apparently I love my parents. Who knew? I must say, they are quite the attractive couple. Oh dang! Monday, December 10, 2012. We took a quick trip to Nauvoo with our good friends the Maughan's. We got there on Monday and went through a few homes and went on the wagon ride. It was SOOO cold! Conner was happy for the first half. We stopped by the gravesides of the Hyrum, Joseph and Emma Smith. On Tuesday we did a kid swap and went to a temple session. Monday, December 24, 2012. Santa Claus is coming to town. This year we saw Santa all over town. First we saw him at the clubhouse. Then we saw him at Curt's work party. And then our good friend, Kate, knows Santa personally and invited us over Christmas Eve to see him. Conner didn't care much for Santa, he got close enough to get a candy cane and then turn back. Sunday, July 26, 2009. Nalani was out of town this week on a business trip so Jed invited me to go with their family to the Spanish Fork rodeo.
