鳥類區是直接把一個坡面架起高大鐵網罩起來，在裡面養了上百種鮮艷奇特的鳥類、雉雞等。遊客推開三扇鐵紗門，直接走進超大鳥籠裡的坡地樹林裡看鳥。結果是整個過程中，不時會有漂亮的鳥兒從你身邊飛過、走過！裡面有許多只在鳥類圖片看過的珍奇異禽，就在眼前飛翔或走跳，例如皇冠鴿（頭有冠、色黑，但展翅飛翔時，方知其翅為鮮紅色）、巨嘴鳥、金紅彩色的雉雞等等。蝴蝶區也是一樣，用高大鐵網覆蓋了一個緩坡，種了各種蜜源植物，裡面蝴蝶超多！水生植物區則有許多瀕臨絕種的水生草類，種類非常豐富。另外還有大隻鵜鴣、天鵝棲息的天然湖、會表演的金剛鸚鵡區、熱帶雨林植物區等，是個天然而豐富的生物園區。整個園區植裁與造景做得很好，運用巧思設計出美感與特色，完全不輸國外類似景點，比很多動物園都還要好。特約廠商如交大，門票半價優待。交通方面，可以走北二高、東西向快速道路接台三線，很方便，是新竹又近又好的去處。訂閱：張貼留言 (Atom). 李佳薇 ─ Listen. 蕭煌奇、舞思愛 - 春花夢露. 孫曉亮 ─ 一個人的地老天荒. 叮噹、李佳薇 ─ Ｗhat's Up. 倪安東、陳珂冰 ─ Lucky. 白潮洛蒙 ─ 我期待.
