Skip to main content. Summer Tours of GI and Poker Flat. June 4, 2015. The UAF Geophysical Institute will offer free public tours during the summer of 2015, starting June 3. The public can learn about the Alaska Satellite Facility, V-ADAPT Inc., the Alaska Earthquake Center, and the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center during weekly tours offered every Wednesday from June 3 Aug. 19. Tours begin at 1 pm in the lobby of the Elvey Building. For more information, contact Kaz Alvarez.
