Think about it….I’ve seen it multiple times in my life as a therapist. A guy who has a great promotion at work starts to get sick and misses multiple days of work. A couple who is trying to have a baby gets pregnant and then starts to have more little “fights” than they usually do. What if I fail? Did I really just hit his mark? 8221; And on and on it went.

This was the painting that started it all for me–it launched a love for watercolors that has persisted for over 12 years and still going strong. Start by drawing an outline of the leaf, and using the “veins” of the leaf, divide it into segments. You will want to paint segments that are not adjacent to each other, just in case your brush accidentally creeps outside the segment, so you don’t bleed into the next segment. Leaf, Watercolor 2015.
