Inside a Student's Head....: Oh, and two more things....
http://insideastudentshead.blogspot.com/2007/12/oh-and-two-more-things.html
Inside a Student's Head. Saturday, December 1, 2007. Oh, and two more things. I woke up this morning to a centimeter of snow on the ground. I know, nothing for most people, but in Victoria this is a big deal. It's the first time I've seen snow on December 1st in at least 3 years! Aannndd. I've been addicted to America's Next Top Model for the last 2 cycles. I can't get enough. Joel makes fun of me. But episode 10 is amazing! Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon meet ANTM. never a dull moment: May 2010
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Friday, May 07, 2010. My early Mother's day. My son and daughter came home (predictably) with home made cards and such today after school. What was not predictable was the fact that my son actually made me cry with his gift. Actually, it was his card. It said this;. Posted by Sarah, Grand-Dutchess of Serendipity. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My early Mothers day. Awesome Inc. template. Template images by molotovcoketail.

never a dull moment: February 2013

Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Thursday, February 28, 2013. I caught some flack for the ideas in my last post for various reasons. I will not address them all here, but I did think one was certainly worth the effort of testing. I will need your help to do so. Let me explain. If you don't believe in God (as the person who called me naive doesn't) thats OK. The evidence is all around us in social science. We know that abuse lives in cycles. Well, so does comm...They don'...

never a dull moment: Trying to remember
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2013/11/trying-to-remember.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Monday, November 11, 2013. Today is a day of Remembrance so I am trying to remember. I remember the history books that tell me that war has been a part of the human race for longer than the written word existed and that once words were written, they were often written by the victors. I remember the parents and spouses and children who gave their loved ones, in this country and the countries of our enemies and I imagine it is not always so...

never a dull moment: Speaking of kindness......
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2013/05/speaking-of-kindness.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Saturday, May 11, 2013. About three and a half years ago, Alex and I were at a Lifelinks conference in Medicine Hat when the weirdest thing came out of his mouth. "I think we need to plant a church." My response was quick and not well thought out. "You're on crack.". Today LRC (Love Revolution Communities) descended on our sketchy fourplex, weeded, mowed, planted, cleaned and built garden boxes for the families who live here. Children...

never a dull moment: December 2012
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Monday, December 31, 2012. Finishing a year well. 2012 was a year stuffed full and bursting at the seams with change. We spent the year pregnant with a dream that was ready to see the light of reality. We faced insecurities. We measured our worth in hours of work and then slowly passed on that work to other capable hands. We learned to measure our worth in different units. Then we learned not to measure it at all. Sunday, December 30, 2012.

never a dull moment: August 2012
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Friday, August 24, 2012. To train or not train? That is the question. Please, please, please, if you don’t think anything else in this book is useful, take me seriously here. RELAX! Do you know very many 17 year olds that wear diapers? There is no need whatsoever for the low grade panic that grips the parents of 9 month olds when they realize Tommy next door is out of diapers. Who are you trying to keep up with? 8221; What is a mother to ...

never a dull moment: March 2013
http://littlemother.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Never a dull moment. Dawn till dusk, making the most of the chaos. Saturday, March 23, 2013. The cure of Kindness - Day one. A basement, a bedroom and a impromptu indoor pool. I thought to start I would share a story of my own. I am blessed to have many, but I have picked this one for today. Another important detail in this story was that we had a teenager staying with our already large six person family and another couple moving in a week to join us in our four bedroom house. Staring at my drenched ...
