Thursday, February 10, 2011. Or I mean PIT BULL! So this past few of weeks has been extra crazy for Lancer. He started training with the older ski team kids on Friday afternoons,in addition to regular Saturday practice. Then the past three Saturdays he has had back to back ski races. The first race was at Park City:. Lancer did better than he expected. 18th place! For being with the older advanced kids, we were pretty darn proud. Although it was a beautiful sunny day, the snow was really icy. Last week w...

Life with the Rouglah's: Christmas 2011
http://richandautumndouglas.blogspot.com/2012/01/christmas-2011.html
Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Yeah, I know. It's not really Christmas anymore. But you know, better late than never. No? The Week of Christmas started out with the boys' Holiday performance at school. Because of some custody arrangement. I was not able to get any video just still photos, so Ryker is kind of hard to see. I could tell you how I feel about the no video rule, but that would take way too much time. Here Lancer is trying to convince Santa that he has been good. Richie got a Ute sweat shirt. They ...

Life with the Rouglah's: March 2010
http://richandautumndouglas.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. Ryker used this trip as a way to meet girls. I know he is only 4, but the boy likes the ladies! He is not picky about their age, however, he does like for them to be able to bring something to the table- IE pool toys. Girl #1- She did not have any cool toys to share, so he moved on after a hour or so. I met some new friends at the pool. When I turned around to check on Ryker, he floated by with this little girl. I don't know if it was the pink floaties or the goggles. First plac...

Thursday, November 4, 2010. The Return of Cagney and Lacey. The 80's TV show "Cagney and Lacey" was really our thing. Both of us can do some amazing impressions of these women. Watching the intro makes me laugh so hard because it is so us. Well except we don't look like these women, we are not cops, we are not from New York, and neither of us is married to a guy named Harve. But it so us none the less. So "Shmodi" this is for you. You are an amazing friend. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. He loved making peop...

Life with the Rouglah's: Remembering my Oakley Bear

Thursday, August 11, 2011. Remembering my Oakley Bear. When we first saw you, you were just a ball of fur. I remember Richie asked the lady working at the animal shelter "Are you sure she is a husky? She is just so furry". You waddled over to him, sat down, and looked up at him. That's when we knew you had to be a part of our family. You were barely 8 weeks old. Left with your sister on the banks of the Ogden River, you were brought to the shelter and put up for adoption. The past few years you moved slo...
