Raggedy Owl: at home in the country.
http://raggedyowl.blogspot.com/2010/04/at-home-in-country.html
Tuesday, April 6, 2010. At home in the country. Well, I don't know about you, been a very busy month over here. We sold our first home, bought our second, and moved our little family of four (soon to be five) from our big old house in town to a ten acre farm located four miles out of town in the country. Surprised? Doc and the boys checking on our two black angus cows. The boys love them and can't wait until they are big enough to lay eggs! April 6, 2010 at 8:20 PM. Im so jealous of your awesome farm!

I thought I'd answer a few of the questions from Sew Mama Sew's Reflection and Prediction post. To help wrap things up for the year. Looking back on the sewing scene of 2010, what trends stand out in your mind? That is the first thing that came to mind. I've loved watching this traditional quilting style came back to life this year.

Friday, May 7, 2010. Weston's quilt - half square triangles. This is Weston's quilt. He really wanted bright colors and triangles, so this is what we came up with. This quilt is full of American Jane (Happy Campers, Wee Play, Recess) and Katie Jump Rope, with a little bit of Amy Butler and Lush thrown in. The backing is from an Ikea duvet cover, and the binding is Lush woodgrain. And Weston really loves it. :). I love this. you can never go wrong with some American jane and a little IKEA.
