Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Every month, moms declare, "it's my favorite! Let's get real though, not every month is great. At least not around here. Month six? Horrible. Bleh, absolutely dreadful! Today we honor our country, our independence, our freedom and most importantly the men and women who dedicate their lives to give us the life we are able to lead. I can't help but think of Jimmy today and reflect on the life he lead. He is my. Ideal American. From the day I met him, he dedicated his life to defending our country, our freedom, our ordinary. And he continued to do so until God called him home. Not a day goes by I don't think of him or his family.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. Project Life: Week Seventeen. Saying "week seventeen" sounds so much better than "almost four months old." It just makes him sound like my baby still. With the way he's growing you can tell he won't be a baby for too long. In other news, Jackson rolled over {on purpose} for the very first time! What an *amazing gift* He’s given! Thursday, March 31, 2011. A little over two weeks ago, just a couple of days after I published. Telling you all our plans to adopt again I got a very exciting phone call from our case worker at our adoption agency. She told me we had been chosen by an expectant mother to parent her child! Trust me when I tell you I was just as shocked as you are right now as you read this! I’ll be posting lots of specific prayer requests over the next 2-3 weeks! March 31, 2011 at 4:58 PM.
