To finish off their Oregon Trail unit, the kids walked about 3 miles, with wagons, and dressed in pioneer attire to get a feel for what it might have been like to be on the trail. Every family had to carry a 5# flour sack baby :). Penalties, like jumping jacks, for making the wrong choice at the check points :) (My group did really well… only made a few wrong choices:). All Aboard the Burch Bus. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. My brother-in-law Darren had to show off his duds with his new fancy shoes. All the kids couldn't wait to hit the pinata. The one of Jakob is my best shot of my three boys they got kinda blurry because they were moving so much. Zakry being the little sugarbug that he is. . .couldn't get enough of the candy! Jakob has to be the cutest kid in school! He had his spring music program the other night and i was so excited he did so good!

I had a specific look in mind and the mirrors that I found were each $75 (no, thanks for cheap momma over here), so I decided to do a little diy project. Well, its done! Sunday, June 13, 2010. We finally went on our first camping trip. We went. To Mt Rainier with Ryan's family and it was so much fun! Emma was such a go. D girl. Thanks to my parents we took their tent trailer which made it so nice and c. We enjoyed great food, awesome weather, great company, hiking and site seeing!
