Eastern Skies: 18, 21, 23
http://mallaksavindica.blogspot.com/2010/01/18-21-23.html
Sunday, January 17, 2010. If you haven't been following GirlTravelOR. S blog, the following pictures, taken at 18, 21, and 23 weeks, might come as something of a shock. I'm happy to report that mother and baby are both doing well. No complications that we can see, and we Hope it continues that way. We had a wonderful time at Christmas back home with our families. To think, the next time we see them, they'll be Grandparents (and Uncles, and Aunts)! It's hard to believe, but it's exciting to think about.

Don't Look Down: September 2008
http://jmgeorge.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2008. I've been rockin' a pair of Merrells for about three years now, and I have to say that they have taken a beating pretty well. Unfortunately, they farted out here recently. Honestly, I really wanted a new pair, but just can't bring myself to fork out the 100 bucks for 'em. So.I did some looking around and found a pair of Salomons. That have a similar look. $90 pair of shoes for 40 bucks.not a bad deal, eh? John Michael George Jr. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Ately, Lucy has b...

Don't Look Down: July 2009
http://jmgeorge.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. Hey, Hey everybody! This post is coming after a LLLOOOONNNNNGGGGG hiatus. The fam and I have been in Mississippi since the end of May and have been going from "can to can't" since. Now that I'm finally taking the time to write just a bit about our time at home, it's almost time to get back to beautiful Roach, MO (much prettier than it sounds.). At that about 3 or 4 kiddos interjected with, what was for me, a EUREKA! It was the very next week when my 9 year old neice came to me af...

Friday, January 30, 2009. Giving God A Name. So, this past Wednesday Jessi and I were sitting in a "Form and Meaning" class when we were given an assignment that completely caught me off guard. "Give God a name," our teacher said. What? Give God a name? For example, say you move into a new tribal location. Option 1: You can stick with the name "God," but what will they understand this word? What meaning will they ascribe to it? Would you misrepresent the nature of God by the words you choose? Four years ...

Saturday, October 25, 2008. Anywho, after a few seconds of being at a loss for words, or patience, Roy turned to me and said "what do you think about all this, John Michael? 2 more stories about this guy and this blog is done* *. Oh yeah, also at one point of this 20 minute or so conversation, he told me that if I had read Matthew I would have had known he was coming that day. What? DIYtrying: The grind
http://diytrying.blogspot.com/2010/02/grind.html
Life is full of attempts and rarely filled with completions. Thursday, February 18, 2010. The daily tasks to complete. Start to feel cold defeat. Observing those who compete. Praying not to be found out. As a slacker who has no clout. Fighting the current, as a trout. Only the fittest do succeed. Braun was how to do the deed. But now the strength of a steed. Is relegated to a menial task. So repetitive you must ask. It’s no wonder we hit the flask. But alas, went I to school. Now I sit atop my stool.

DIYtrying: Heart attack
http://diytrying.blogspot.com/2010/02/heart-attack.html
Life is full of attempts and rarely filled with completions. Thursday, February 18, 2010. And I fell to the ground. All things new to have found. Breathe in the dust and the dirt. The unknown people I have hurt. This point forward to have in view. Regrets, they no longer will undo. Lifting off the dirty floor. Soon your face to adore. Desire to be at your side. In your presence to abide. Seeing those who were like me. Save for grace bestowed by thee. A choice made to follow, floundering. This side of fall.
