So I’m now that much closer to my departure date of September 14th, and thanks to the support of friends and colleagues, even closer to realizing my fundraising goal for CUSO International. On August 24th, fellow volunteer Belay Tura and I hosted a fundraising dinner at the Blue Nile Restaurant in Ottawa. The food was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the meal and the socializing.
