On Friday we went to the Benintends to make Easter eggs and have yummy grilled lamb. Logan was enjoying the egg dying. The Zens Family Blog. Heading into month 5. Cece has been debating whether or not to roll over for a little while now. Finally she took the plunge and rolled from her stomach to her back. Yeah Cece! The Zens Family Blog. Here is a video of Cece showing off for Grandpa! Of course we made way too much food for 4 people. But it was nice to have a relaxing and intimate Thanksgiving dinner. Cece enjoyed mashed potatoes and gravy and yams. She wasn't interested in the turkey I pureed, whew, it did smell a little funky. After dinner it was more standing before bedtime. She has more energy than the rest of us put together! I can't believe our little peanut is sitting at the table like a big girl!

The Zens Family Blog. I'm sorry it has been a long time since the last post. We were having camera malfunctions, so there were no pictures until recently. Now we have a beautiful new camera so we should be getting back on track with the pictures. Last weekend Uwe and I rented a cabin in the mountains with our friends, Peggy and Shad. The Zens Family Blog. Last week I went CL shopping and picked up a bumbo for Cece. When I put her in the chair she sort of looks around and appears to be confused by the act of sitting up. But she is just so cute in it. When you live in San Diego you must go to the beach in summer. As a twosome, Uwe and I had a good set-up. We had backpack style beach chairs with the footrests (Uwe gets the broken one). We'd bring our water, snacks and trash magazines to read. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Where did summer go? It has been a busy couple of months for the Kave family! The girls and I spent most of June back home in Virginia while Matt studied and worked on getting closer to his "murder board" for Top Gun. We were fortunate enough to attend family weddings and see friends and family that we have so deeply missed. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Time flies when you are having fun! Happy Anniversary to the love of my life! I was so blessed to have found you at 13 and held onto you forever. We are soul-mates and I cherish you for all that you have shown me! 10 years ago TODAY I married my best friend! I love that we can share in this adventure with our sweet girls!
