Monday, March 26, 2012. This past December I was able to go home to California for a visit before Christmas. It was very nice to be home again to revel in a few memories and enjoy a little time away. I forget how beautiful the view of the SF Bay is from my parents home. While there, it was fun to go to a craft fair that my mom and sisters prepared for. I was impressed with their talent. They had beautiful ornaments and paper crafts. Ron brought his family up to spend the day. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010. We are officially done with our Christmas concerts. Chad had his first, I unfortunately did not get a picture of that handsome boy all dressed up tooting his horn. But, I did get a picture of him playing at the annual "Christmas in Strasburg". The band plays down mainstreet to welcome Santa and then hang out playing Christmas music as the community walks up and down the street with all of the. Christmas lights enjoying hot chocolate and cider. I love this time of year!

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. I personally am not a big fan of cinnamon rolls, but I have been on the lookout for a good recipe for awhile now. I've tried probably half a dozen different ones and this one. Is my favorite so far. They taste good and the recipe uses the rapid rise. Yeast which makes them relatively quick for a yeast roll. She came home seemingly normal in all respects, her attitude, her smile, and she appeared to have no damage from flesh wounds or teeth bites. But then it happened, the truth came out as I was making dinner. The tale of the MEANEST, GREENEST teacher flowed out of the mouth of my 9 year old sweet girl. She is MEAN and has VERY GOOD HEARING! The sweet girl said.

The last 2 weeks before Christmas vacation, we filled each others' buckets. I gave them all little buckets (Dollar Tree) and 20 slips of papers (one for each class member AND me!
