Sunday, September 30, 2012. John worked super hard, won a trip, and we got to go to Aulani, the Disney Resort in Hawaii. Luke claims it was his idea all along. They kids loved it. And Bob paid for all the rest of the Davis' to join us! Seriously our kids were in heaven. Loved the beach, the lazy river, the pools, and all the Disney characters! Well Luke and Joshua loved the characters, Caroline was indifferent and Hunter hated them). Does this little girl not look so adorable? Did you see the one of me?

Scott * stephanie * shelbie * scott II * sydnie * sadie. June 16, 2011. 9 lbs 1 oz. Scott had to go out of town for work on Shelbie's actual birthday so we celebrated the day before. She got a Shelby remote control. She loves it cause she was named after it. :-). We went bowling for her "party" . she is still asking for a party but we'll have to see.I've been holding off since the baby is due to come anytime and I can't promise to pull off a party until after she is born. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Joshua 8 years old. I am so glad the Joshua is my first born. He is so responsible, reliable and can be so helpful. He is so sweet, loving and nurturing to Caroline and Hunter. I think my life would be so much harder without this kid! But Joshua just is and wants to be a rule follower. He loves making rules, and is always suggesting new rules to me. He also loves routine. He looks forward to all tradition and routine things that happen on a predictable schedule. Luke 6 years old.

Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Caroline Margaret - the 4 year old update. As I type this post title I can't believe that little little Caroline is already 4 years old. I remember so well posting about her in the hospital just after she was born. It's amazing how fast time goes by. In public Caroline is very shy and reserved. She will hide behind my legs, hold my hand, and not want to do anything alone. It's interesting how she can be so assertive and reserved at the same time. February 13, 2014 at 8:19 PM.

Friday, March 20, 2015. It's Great to be 8! Luke Christian Davis is turning 8 in six days. I can't believe he is that old. I'm sure my other kids have suffered because of the time I've focused into Luke. Luke is the only child I can't send out of the house with confidence. Joshua and Caroline I know will be respectful to people, and obedient to those they should. Luke is a wild card. We are working on it all. I love how Luke loves to come to our house! Saturday, July 21, 2012. This is last year (2011). I can't believe how much Caroline has grown up! Maybe Joshua too, with the addition of some permanent teeth. I think I'm going to have to make it a tradition, taking the kids picture on the steps in the back yard. Hunter was there too! Friday, March 20, 2015. Today I wanted to clean my kitchen, do all the kids laundry, grocery shop, and bake some sheet cakes for Luke's baptism next week. None of that was done. Today I ran my 5 miles, showered, taught 1 piano lesson, homeschooled Luke, and drove to Lakewood to buy a new cello. Not a great list, but it's a list to show something was done.
