Wednesday, October 6, 2010. The joys of fall. We had a fun and wild time with my niece (Brooklyn) and nephews (Kale and Banner) last weekend. We went to a parade downtown, played in our "box fort" and of course, legos. Today was an awesome fall day. So, for our family night we went to Papa's Pumpkin Patch. We each had an apple cider doughnut, picked out a pumpkin, went through a -kind of crazy- corn maze, climbed "Mount Pleasant" and walked around and saw all of the pumpkins! It was lots of fun.

Friday, March 11, 2011. Well, not it's not really madness around here, I just like the title. :) The madness of college basketball will soon invade our home in the next week or so, but until then, let me share a few pictures from lately. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some basketball. We'll start with an update on the project.It is almost complete! Fun in the snow. Trevor helped the kids make this "fort". It's long gone now. It was fun, but glad to see it go. Bring on the Spring! The room looks GREAT!

Friday, September 10, 2010. If you're reading this but haven't seen the August post yet, you'll have to go to the "older posts" and check that one out too. So much has happened recently that I thought I better just get these things in here while they're still somewhat current. The request this year was a flower cake. And of course what girl doesn't like pink and purple! Kara still gets "stuck" once in a while and needs a little push. And now for the first day of school pictures! I wish you could see Aust...

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Quick project.yeah, right. :). I will start out by saying that by the Grace of God I am still smiling. :) I have been anxiously planning this project for over a year now and after Christmas I was set to go! Then I will paint, we will put up trim, lights, build shelves on either side of the fire place, and get new carpet (although, the carpet is just a dream -I think. How I'd love to ditch the burnt orange, but new carpet is expensive! After I pulled off the paneling. Quick pr...

Monday, August 9, 2010. Family Camping and more. At the end July we took our first official family vacation- just the 5 of us. We went to Orchard Beach State Campground in Manistee Michigan. It's on Lake Michigan between Ludington and Traverse City. Our view of the Lake from our campsite. The wonderful sound of waves lapping against the beach put me to sleep each night.ahhh. Our quaint little spot that was a little uneven. We made it work though. We certainly scouted out some better spots for next year.

Thursday, March 18, 2010. Out comes the top tooth! With a little help from Kara's head. I think he looks so much older without his tooth. He has at least two more that are wiggly too.what a grown up. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. And he has just gotten into climbing trees. Still pretty cautious, which I'm thankful for, but I think he really loves the adventure! The hunter, 50's dancer, and kitty cat. Kara was the cutest little kitten around. I tried to put her hair up (like in the first picture), but she plays with it so much that it started coming down. Below is her fierce, tiger-like growl face. And the creating continues. Legos are great. They are one of the best toys around. My Family - My Life.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Okay, okay, so I'm late again. I'm not sweating it though. It's summer, we've been busy. :). Here are a few highlights of mostly June, but now into July. Here we are having a little fun and bonfire at Grandma and Papa Reid's. Papa let us get out the four wheeler for a ride. On the way we stopped to have summer fun at the Midland spray park.
