Do you ever remember as a child going up to a fountain or a well with a shiny coin in your hand ready to make a wish? Do you remember the moments leading up to making your official wish as you tossed the coin? To this day I still make the wish. When past boyfriends or friends ride with me and see me do this, they ask and I simply say "It's my wish for myself.". Why do we let men do this type of thing to us?

Some people ask from time to time, how did you do it? What made you do it? They often look at me with empathetic eyes and a smile on their face. It's at times so hard to explain.
