Am I an Alien…or Celebrity? October 27, 2014. Today, instead of going biking like usually do, I attended a 1/4 Marathon event in Bucaramanga with two of my Colombian friends. The event was great, fun, exciting, and it felt awesome to be running long distance again. My post isn’t about the race. It’s about what happened after the race. June 15, 2015. This year, we only had one week off for spring break (Semana Santa), so I finally took the leap and decided to travel solo. In the past, trips had always been with other people, either with my family, friends, or boyfriend. And even though I was in Guatemala alone last year, I had been living with a family, and taking Spanish classes everyday – completely different experience.
