The Walker Chronicles: July 2014
http://the-walker-chronicles.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 29 July 2014. Thanks everyone for your kind words about Walker. Our big news is that we're moving, which probably doesn't come as much of a surprise to anyone really. The vet suggested that Walker might benefit from a 7 day turnout on grass pastures with the chance to come in at night to rest. She felt that the current 5 day turnout schedule he was on was bad for his feet, and the rock and sand pastures were not helping much either. Here are the details:. There are three grass pastures, each of ...

The Walker Chronicles: Deworming Prep
http://the-walker-chronicles.blogspot.com/2015/01/deworming-prep.html
Saturday, 10 January 2015. Solid reasoning. Except she has never given Walker dewormer. And neither have I. Ever. This is not to say that I have never had Walker dewormed. Oh, he has been dewormed. In the first year, my barn owner helped me. Those were the easy days when you could deworm him without even putting a halter on, but for whatever reason, I never did it myself. Since then, only one person has ever been able to deworm him, and folks, it's not me. Posted by Natalie S. 10 January 2015 at 14:31.

The Walker Chronicles: March 2015
http://the-walker-chronicles.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 March 2015. So here's a story for you. I'm out at the barn today trying to de-shed my monster, when I hear a man call out from across the pasture. His daughter wanted to feed the horses treats so I invited her to come around and over to the barn. I had Walker in the entryway of the barn, and I knew Koby wouldn't go over to the fence without Walker. Over the fence and into the pasture through 4 feet of snow. What I should have said was: "Get the hell out of the field". But I was just so sur...

http://puppyintraining.blogspot.com/p/jack.html
Random stories, thoughts and happenings while training service dogs. September 6, 2009. Jack's mom was donated to My Angel With Paws pregnant. He was being raised by a family that ended up loosing both their jobs. They didn't have time for Jack and he spent many months being mostly in his crate. After spending a couple months a MAWP, I took him home. Animal Assisted Therapy dog at Body Fixx in Lake Forest. Balls, dock diving. Angry dogs, not being the center of attention. My Life on Horses: Sickness Brews and Beju Bear
http://mylifeonhorses.blogspot.com/2014/02/sickness-brews-and-beju-bear.html
Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Sickness Brews and Beju Bear. For almost the past week I had been pretty sick. My head was throbbing, I had a fever (which I hadn't got in forever! A cough that killed my throat, my eyes for some reason were in immense pain and looked like the eyes of the devil, I was almost too weak to stand, dizzy too, and nausea was always keeping me from eating. I literally spent days in bed barely getting up. But now I can finally get around again despite a foggy mind. What a nice gecko!
