Trying my best to deal with his birthday and Christmas – Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever

https://jesseineternity.wordpress.com/2016/12/07/trying-my-best-to-deal-with-his-birthday-and-christmas

Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever. Honoring his memory, Learning to live after. Trying my best to deal with his birthday and Christmas. Jesse loved birthdays. He had a party every year from age one to age 12. At 13 he decided he only wanted family parties. I am getting things done – things that in another context might feel like exciting accomplishments but in the current context just make me sad. I created a page on Fine Art America. Been able to get anyone to buy. I will extol You, O Lord. And You healed me.

I used to write Christmas letters – Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever

https://jesseineternity.wordpress.com/2016/12/22/i-used-to-write-christmas-letters

Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever. Honoring his memory, Learning to live after. I used to write Christmas letters. I haven’t written one of these letters in the past few years. I got off track. I had a few Christmases in which I lacked Christmas spirit. Shame on me. It seems so silly now not to appreciate all the blessings I had each and every year. What would I write in a year like this one? 8220;Dear Friends,. Blogger, illustrator, writer View all posts by Carol. December 22, 2016. Enter your comment here.

Carol – Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever

https://jesseineternity.wordpress.com/author/cjapple

Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever. Honoring his memory, Learning to live after. Blogger, illustrator, writer. It is well with my soul. I have to breath deeply and remind myself of the basic facts:. This world is not all there is. It is a speck in the ocean of eternity. Jesse lives in eternity. He now lives in the presence of our Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ. Soon enough I also will be in Heaven where I will be reunited with Jesse, as well as my parents, in-laws, and many others. That Christ hath...

Looking at a new year without my son in it – Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever

https://jesseineternity.wordpress.com/2017/01/03/looking-at-a-new-year-without-my-son-in-it

Jesse: Then, Now, and Forever. Honoring his memory, Learning to live after. Looking at a new year without my son in it. A Child is Born. That showed beautiful pictures of how a fetus looks at each stage of development and I studied those pictures, imagining the child within me. I felt enveloped in a bubble of magic throughout my whole pregnancy. Jesse was already there. It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” James 4:14 (NKJV). What was he now? So far my only resolution...

Jesse in Budapest

An online journal of my adventures here and around. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. The Hike - goals and afterthoughs. So why a hike, anyway? I had to have help in the very beginning. And all in all, I made really good time. I reached Cortina by the end of day 4, and camped on the outskirts. I officially call that the final day. So I guess I still need to do this challenge. Maybe in August after camp. Sometime soon. I feel pressured by time to do this. Stories and events tomorrow. Saturday, June 13, 2009.

Jesse In Common

Wednesday, January 30, 2013. A Mother’s Regret. JESSE’S MOM: I think I want to write a book: How to Date a Widow. Or maybe it should be how to date someone who has lost their family in a horrible tragedy. FRIEND: Is it that bad? JM: Dating is bad in general, only made worse by the circumstances. F: Dare I ask? JM: Last week I went out with this guy for the third time and, my hand to god, he actually asked me what my biggest regret was. On a date, no less. F: What did you say? I mean, he asked. JM: I told...

Thoughts I Think

April 12, 2010. A Day in the Life. Sata Sacko opens her eyes to the first rays of morning light. Her thatched roof is perched upon the circular wall of her hut in such a way as to allow a ring of light to slip through the space between. Every day she wakes up to a halo from the rising sun. Interspersed with the thumping are the calls of various livestock passing through the compound. Goats bleat, donkeys bray, and roosters crow as they mill about scanning the ground for food. As the noises outsid...After...
