Friday, September 18, 2009. In God We Trust. In God We Trust. If I have it all figured out, I don’t need God. I sometimes forget that God wants us to trust Him…. Completely. Ouch, there’s the catch. I have to be brutally frank here… it’s the “completely” part that I sometimes struggle with. Sunday, July 19, 2009. This is someone who I have been talking with about life, God, and getting things together. Talking with for a LONG time. Yes, they are dealing with some junk in their life. Friday, May 21, 2010. Simple Acts, not so simple…. I had the opportunity to watch the movie “The Blind Side” again last night. The first time I watched this movie, I knew it was going to be one that had to be seen over and over and over…. Well, you get the idea. There are so many great moments and messages in this movie. I know I learn or catch something new each time I watch it. One thing that hit me hard this time was a concept we are all familiar with but tend to forget. You know, we all have had them.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Too Much Going On. I can almost hear the "gasp" sound some of you made after reading that. How could I even hesitate about going to be with my mother for her surgery? No, it's not that I don't love or care about her, or that we have a bad relationship/history. I've been very blessed with a loving caring family. So then why the hesitation on my part? Oh, one more thing - I had to be willing to listen to what they had to say. While I'm not required to follow any advice/insights...
