Our Army of Six: Lily recovery update
http://armyofsix.blogspot.com/2014/07/lily-recovery-update.html
Thursday, July 10, 2014. Lily had a good day today. She slept well last night, seemed to have a lot less pain and finished her antibiotics. She only had a couple of spells where we believe she was uncomfortable. She is so much quieter now. In fact, she can even sneak up on us! We give God glory for her healing and pray she continues to heal and grow. Lily felt better today! Heal me, O Lord. And I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise." Jeremiah 17:14. Our Army of Six.

Our Army of Six: It's hot out there!
http://armyofsix.blogspot.com/2014/06/it-hot-out-there.html
Monday, June 23, 2014. Its hot out there! Grace has been trying to improve her vocabulary lately. She's even looked at the 'word-a-day" sites to learn big words and then she tries to use them. Sometimes, much to our entertainment, she gets it just a little bit off. Today:. Momma, it's so hot, I see the delusionals of water! Let the words of my mouth.be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord. Living the Gray't life.....: August 2014
http://aaronandjessicagray.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Living the Gray't life. Sunday, August 10, 2014. Mexican food is my husband's all time favorite! We also incorporate several vegetarian dishes throughout the week to cut back on our meat consumption, so what better way than with this yummy vegetarian dish. Black bean and corn enchiladas have been a favorite among every one in my family for quite some time now. They are so scrumptious, hearty, and filling. I also made a queso dip that is to die for! Black Bean and Corn Enchiladas. 1/2 onion, diced. Top wi...

Our Army of Six: Lily in the hospital
http://armyofsix.blogspot.com/2014/07/lily-in-hospital.html
Saturday, July 05, 2014. Lily in the hospital. This week Lily was scheduled to have a tonsillectomy, dental work and sedated hearing tests on Monday. These were to be somewhat routine and the plan was for her to stay overnight in the hospital for observation. Monday, we prepared for surgery. Lily had not had any food or drink. She was hungry and the doctors were delayed 2 hours. Lily also had a slight temperature so there was debate about whether she should go through with it. Lily waiting for surgery.

Living the Gray't life.....: A week with the Gray's- Food Edition (with recipes and grocery list)!
http://aaronandjessicagray.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-week-with-grays-food-edition-with.html
Living the Gray't life. Friday, May 22, 2015. A week with the Gray's- Food Edition (with recipes and grocery list)! Go meatless once or more a week, and avoid recipes with lots of ingredients or unusual ingredients you wont use again. Once a week the girls get to have "kid" cereal. It's mostly organic (or non-GMO). This morning they picked marshmallow cereal (not organic, Mom's Best brand). They also got organic red grapes and half a organic banana. I made stuffed peppers using this recipe here. I topped...

Living the Gray't life.....: Another week with the Gray's: Food Edition!
http://aaronandjessicagray.blogspot.com/2015/07/another-week-with-grays-food-edition.html
Living the Gray't life. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Another week with the Gray's: Food Edition! I had such good feedback from my last food post, that I'd thought I'd do it again. This time I used my camera instead of my Iphone for the pictures, so maybe they will be better quality, haha! If you would like to see my first post, you can do so here. They also got some pickles, a plum, and Simply Balanced fruit strip (not organic, but non-GMO). Tonight's dinner was all done on the grill. I made foil packet...

Our Army of Six: Game time
http://armyofsix.blogspot.com/2014/09/game-time.html
Monday, September 01, 2014. Recently, we played Risk with Connor and Grace. Connor loves games of strategy and challenge. He's very quick thinking and does well at these games. Grace loves to have fun and giggle. But she's also a very quick thinker so it's fun to watch her mind work. She began learning to play Risk a few years ago and has become quite a challenging player! Connor won tonight, but only after Grace forfeited in order to go to bed after playing for over 2 1/2 hours! Lots of fun and laughter.

Our Army of Six: Noah Jack
http://armyofsix.blogspot.com/2014/06/noah-jack.html
Monday, June 23, 2014. Noah Jack is our 6th child and youngest son. We met Noah the same day we met Lily. He lived in the same home with her. We arrived at the home and visited with Lily. She decided to take a nap. So, we played with Noah while we learned more about Lily. Needless to say, he melted our hearts and we adored him. During the visit, the caseworker and foster mom both commented how Noah was also searching for his forever home. Our focus was on Lily, but we did make a mental note. We are a hom...
