Shortly after midnight on the morning of June 23, 1952, police were contacted about reports of a robbery at the home of Moss Davis and his wife. The home was located at 98th Street. Willard Carver, circa 1950. Stolen vehicle Carver and Gaunt discovered stuck in the mud. Carver’s blood-stained uniform. Burial of Sergeant Willard Carver in 1952.
