Enjoying Our Walk Through Life Together. Saturday, September 27, 2014. The nursery is coming along great, thanks to my dear friend Allison! She is helping me decorate the nursery and a few other rooms in the house.getting everything ready for our girl! The nursery is neutral colors, and since we know it is a girl, I'm going to accent in a very pale pink. Gigi, Pops and Seth painted the nursery a tan color that I love. This is the before.this room used to be our office. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. My mom ...

John & Melanie: October 2013

http://johnandmelanieg.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Enjoying Our Walk Through Life Together. Sunday, October 20, 2013. We have lettuce, collard greens and broccoli planted. Some tomatoes and peppers are still going strong! Saturday, October 12, 2013. I've been doing some work in our laundry room- just trying to make it feel a little more "homey" since it is the first room we normally walk into. It has also become a room where we stack stuff we need to take places, so I wanted it to be sort of a mud room, too. We also got to visit Lindsey in Chapel Hill!

When I Grow Up. These are my celebrations during my first year of teaching of what God has blessed me with! Thursday, November 11, 2010. 31: An Ounce of Creativity. Right now I am 8 school days away from Thanksgiving break so my creative juices are really not flowing too well. The Final Frontier

Thursday, January 28, 2010. Sunday, January 17, 2010. I have started yet another blog. One for my own thoughts unrelated to motherhood - or perhaps directly related to motherhood. I find times when I'd like to share a story but don't feel their blogs are the right landing place for them. It's also going to be a gardening journal of sorts. I hope you might find it enjoyable. Friday, January 1, 2010. This bookstand is based on a Stickley version, which happened to be the right dimensions for this spot.

John & Melissa

Sunday, July 29, 2012. Day Two in Fredericksburg. John and I headed to the Fredericksburg Herb Farm for lunch on Saturday afternoon. The gardens surrounding the restaurant were beautiful and we spent some time admiring their work and wishing our yard looked the same. Unfortunately, this sign summarizes how I typically feel about our yard. After lunch John spent a few hours at the Pacific War Museum and I did a little browsing in the local stores. We met up a few hours later for "Hap-pie Hour.". You could...

John, Melissa, Lillian, and Reeve. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Lillian had her very first program at school on Thursday. I think I was more excited about it than she was. Oh, well!
