About the Artist - John Fairgrieve. Having started fishing for trout over many years ago in his local burns, John developed his love of game fishing for sea trout, grayling and salmon all over the UK. Being an accomplished watercolour artist, John started sculpting trout and painting them to mount on stones gathered from the rivers he fishes. The sculptures are keenly sought after among anglers and fishing clubs and make a delightful "collectible" to adorn the shelf or coffee table.
