http://alex-and-sarah.blogspot.com/2008/07/end-of-medical-school.html
Tuesday, July 01, 2008. The end of Medical School! Exams finally came to an end on the 10 th. Of June with a fairly horrendous final clinical exam. However, the elation of finishing was increased by Alex's impromptu visit to Newcastle, bearing Champagne and dinner. Having already made plans for the evening, we went out to meet lots of my course mates in Jesmond. Its a good job that Claires. Husband Morrow was also out to entertain Alex, since there was a lot of swapping of exam horror stories! Hall, abou...

http://alex-and-sarah.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 28, 2007. Our culture shock began when we arrived at her house. The toilets at qlot of the houses in tamatave qre holes in the floor and alot of the houses have no running water. Jen and I both have to pump water should we want to use any while Em is lucky that her hosts have running water! However as it gets light at about 5.30 thats when people get up. It goes dark at 5.30 pm and not many people go out after dark and tend to go to bed at about 8 or 9pm. Sunday was spent at church with ou...

http://alex-and-sarah.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Boating with Chuckywinkle Co. After planning a wet weekend late last year for four , the gods were kind to us and left us with some decent levels in Wales. So we christened the new paddle wagon (Xena) and headed across on Friday night, a quick roadside stop on the A57 to remove unwanted car parts and we were there, Bils and Lou were close behind. We had booked a cottage in Betsw-y-coed, very convenient for a late trip to the pub! Bils about to 'encounter' the local. Me on a d...

Alex and Sarah: February 2007
http://alex-and-sarah.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 22, 2007. Following the previous day's excitment we set out once again and found ourselves getting onto the Conwy. First we paddled the Upper stretch at a nice medium level, then after a quick hot drink to warm ourselves up we carried on down to the Conwy Falls get out. Luckily us being mint boaters we managed to spot all three warning signs and the salmon pink rock to prevent ourselves being the next muppets requiring the mountain rescue egress. A couple of pictures;.
