The Physician Assistants in Cardiothoracic Surgery (PACTS) Foundation was created to provide opportunities for physician assistants in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Active Member - graduates of approved PA training programs who are actively engaged in the treatment, research, education or support of cardiovascular or thoracic disease or critical care medicine. Active Members enjoy all membership privileges including the right to vote, chair committees and hold office. Student Member - is for those enrolled in ARC-PA accredited PA programs with an interest in cardio-vascular or thoracic disease. Students are not permitted to vote, chair committees or hold office.
