Wednesday, September 3, 2008. First Day of (Pre)School! Hard for us to believe but Josie set out on her first day of Preschool this morning. She's going to this fancy-pants liberal indoctrination center selected by her father. It's awesome. Really, though, it's a very nice school. Kieran slept through the whole thing. She also says about pretty much every task "NOOOOOOOO! Let ME DO IT! Before bed: "one more book? In Kieran news, he slept from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am without making a peep! What does that even.

I left without saying goodbye. So much has happened in the last six months. Certainly, the most important is that smiling mug up there. She's almost six months old now, and she fills the days sometimes with quiet, simple moments, sometimes with peals of giggles, and once in a while with cries that remind me of just how much I'm needed. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Telling me how big her fish was. Learning how to blow a dandelion. She continues to love her combo gymnastics, tap and ballet class. I had been keen to do the Red Centre Stage Race for quite sometime now so boarding the plane and escaping to the arid but beautiful interior was exciting.
