Monday, July 27, 2015. On Saturday the little kids and I decided to go to my parents' lake house for the rest of the weekend. It was a laid back time and very hot! We took a couple of boat rides, did a tad bit of swimming, checked the jugs for big catches, went out to dinner, and watched the Royal's game. It was a good time for Grandma and Papa to spend with Eli and Brynne without all the other grands. July 27, 2015 at 2:57 PM. Lake fun is the best! Were surrounded by them.a new one every day!

Monday, August 31, 2015. Journey Homeschool Kickoff 2015/2016. Today was our first day of school! We had a crazy, busy summer with graduating one child and marrying off another. We took a little extended break the last three weeks to recharge and gear up for another fantastic school year. It is so hard to believe that we are starting our 6th year of homeschool! Saturday, July 25, 2015. Weekly Wrap-up Summer School (A Giveaway! We got back to a somewhat regular routine this week, and it was amazing! Tuesday through Thursday we did some actual schoolwork. We realized pretty quickly that our brains were a little dusty, especially in math. We had to brush up on some basics in adding fractions and then moved on to adding those with unlike denominators. By the end of the week we were back on track. We have an extra copy of this book so we are going to give it away!

Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Did you make someone laugh yesterday? You gotta laugh or you'll cry, right? We do lots of laughing around here. If you can't laugh at yourself (and your close family members) who can you laugh at? What's a simple question with a complicated answer? When is your daughter getting married? Well, she is having a family legal ceremony this Friday evening. Then we are going to Mexico for a destination wedding next Tuesday. Then we are having a reception in July. How about one for men?
