November 21, 2015. In this work I wanted to depict the lobular carcinoma like a knot within the middle of the painting. Then it developed a life of its own with lots of layering of different colours. Having only blue, red, yellow, black and white does create some limitations. I enjoyed creating this work and then I think I made a mistake by adding the additional colours. Cancer journey part 1. Cancer journey part 1. November 21, 2015. I have decided to set up a blog to write about my artwork. This is the first painting that I completed, a few weeks ago, on 24 October 2015. I wanted to portray the depths of the cancer diagnosis, so the colours chosen were the deep blues and blacks to depict the dark and bleak experience. November 21, 2015. In this work, I started blending primary colours to develop a wider range of colours on the canvas. I also used more water to bleed colours and it created a very colourful image. I was quite pleased with my orange- blending of blue and yellow! The idea in my mind was many parts making a whole.
