Wednesday, 26 March 2014. Aoanch Eagach, Grim but Great. Yesterday looked promising early morning and after a bit of planning with Steve. Approaching the summit of Meall Dearg. The snow under foot was very soft and wet which made things tricky on the first step down onto the ridge. We clipped into the tat and lowered on to the ridge. Monday, 18 November 2013. After setting foot in snow last Friday the rain and warm temperatures returned and have striped what snow there was. Last week saw me spend a 4 days working inside at Ice Factor, which I was quite glad of. The shifts I worked saw me running taster rock and ice sessions and hit the ice lessons.
