Monday, September 19, 2011. I finished my first triathlon last weekend and it was super fun! My friend Valerie was my coach and convinced me to do it with her. We trained when we could, having 8 kids between the two of us, and what a blast we had. After the race with our babes. I just love to squish your belly Connor!

Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Not dead, yet. So you may have wondered if I had run away, after seeing my last post. Now you can rest at night, we are still kickin'! It has just been an incredibly busy last couple of months. The good news is that my weedy garden patch is weeded, planted, and thriving, pink eye is gone.but the piles and messes may never go away, just vary in their location :) So here is what we have been up to. Camping at the beach over Spring Break. We went to Les Mis. Fathers and Sons Campout.

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Wahoo, quilt project completed! Yeah, I know, big shocker that I finished a project! It helps when friends cut out your quilting squares and hold babies while you sew. Thanks friends! To prevent the humidity from seeping through the blanket's bottom (as well as our own) as we eat our picnic lunch, I put vinyl tablecloth fabric underneath. Monday, February 28, 2011. The Binky Fairy granted Carter's wish this morning and traded him a new big-boy basketball for his old binky! Sunday, February 27, 2011. Blake gets his baby mullet cut. He was so brave! He wasn't even scared of the clippers, just us trying to force his head still! I am a real boy! Sunday, July 17, 2011. Our key to paradise this last week was a vacation! We really needed to just relax and veg and we are sad the trip was over so soon. But it was definitely what we needed. A fun, touristy town with lots of shops- we, of course, were patrons of the candy shop. Savannah has cool, weeping trees that Brayden and I admired. Thursday, September 29, 2011. I'm a new soccer mom! I finally was able to sign Hailey up for soccer before it was too late this year! She and one other little girl on her team, the coach's daughter, are playing for the first time and the others have all played before. She is a little slow, and isn't very quick at dribbling the ball, but she has shown improvement and enjoys playing most of the time. :). Snack time. her favorite part of soccer! Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Happy Birthday Becca and more. My blogging is a bit random of late-I'm lucky to post at all. Life continues to keep us on our toes but here is a bit of our fun times, albeit full of scrapes, blowouts, nosebleeds, and the lot. Miss Becca is now 3 years old and already has the stamina of a great shopper, clothes folder, spit up wiper, color-er, and is just full of sweetness and spunk! We will move them to their own cribs soon. Ah, we got it on camera this time Brayden!
