At least in my opinion. You know when you’re reading a Stephen King novel, and he spends 14 paragraphs describing something when 2 would do an ample job? Or when he makes a point of describing something average (and yet gross) like snot/acne/vomit/etc for no apparent reason other than the fact that he wants to and and he can?
