2 Geeks 2gether Plus 2. 1st Day of 2nd Grade! August 15th, 2012. Alex went off to school today for 2nd grade. He went off this morning on the bus and did not even look back! That is okay, though. It did not break my heart at all. We were quite ready for this change back to the school schedule. Actually, my thoughts were mainly on how difficult next year will be when I put BOTH boys on the bus! Alex got in the car today when we picked him up from YMCA after school program and told me today was Awesome!

Chronicling the Kelly Kids. Sunday, July 26, 2015. Yeah It's been a solid month since I've updated our summer! It's been a good mix of fun, more to-do's and some better weather. First, we had our maiden camping voyage at a State Park. (Note to self: state parks are full of pretty much trees and mosquitoes. Seek out more adventurous, interesting destinations soon). We did well as first-timers and had Jamie and Olivia join us for one of the two nights, which was a riot! Then, there was the 4th of July.

Sure, there has been the occasional wrestling match turn real fight, baseball cleats tracking monumental amounts of mud in the house, grocery store trips that involve carts with 50 pound growths hanging off and LOTS more noise, but it has been great so far!
