Saturday, November 10, 2012. I've never quite understood why it was called the Alabama "National" Fair, but I've always enjoyed attending. As you probably already know, I can barely ride in a car without getting sick so you don't have to worry about Joey or I getting onto any fair rides. We go for the exhibits and of course the very nutritious polish and sausage dogs. Look at those elephant ears! We didn't get to see the swimming pigs. Virginia Kate loved the piglets. So I let my child wear Alabama clothes during the AU/UA Game this year. She was not very happy about it but her cousins had them on to and the fam wanted to take their picture. EC is trying her hardest to crawl but she seems to just scoot backwards. She gets so frustrated. Today we tried juice for the first time and in a sippy cup. Then, last night it hit me. The "perfection" I have been searching for doesn't exist. And it never will. I did a lot of soul searching during my year long hiatus, and have learned to be happy with my imperfections. So, instead of trying to explain my absence, we are just going to celebrate my return to the world of blogging.
