A Soprano Steps Out: reviews and collaborations
http://sopranostepsout.blogspot.com/p/collaborations-and-reviews.html
All dressed up and everywhere to go. I've been getting inquiries about things like this lately, which is very flattering and fabulous! I encourage you to email me at sopranostepsout@gmail.com and I will consider each and every request. Reviewing things as an audience member is a tough one for me, because I am very selfish about the performances I attend. I reserve the right to cry, laugh, and bask in the emotion. But I will consider requests to review productions. Thank you so much for reading!

Transitions: The Waiting
http://piketransitions.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-waiting.html
A chronicle of my journey on the way to fluency in ten languages and on the way to becoming a tenor. Wednesday, April 2, 2014. I suppose we human beings have always been in a hurry, but modern people especially seem to want what they want, when they want it. We are driven, determined, goal-oriented, fast-moving. I, for one, can't stand waiting. But is it possible that we are made to wait because the track we are on is not the one God wants for us? This struck me hard today. March 24, 2015 at 12:18 PM.

All dressed up and everywhere to go. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Today is a good day because:. 1 I am alive. 2 There are people who love me. 3 There are people I love. 4 I get to be with some of them today, and I got to be with some of them yesterday. 5 I get to sing today and I am singing music that a brilliant person wrote, and so I get to participate in the brilliance. 6 I remember how lucky I am to be married to someone so great that I miss him this much when he is away. 7 Chocolate chip cookies. Goodbye, Little Table of Ours. Life and death in opera and theater. By Goodbye, little table of ours. 5 Minutes of Vocal Track Yoga. A Soprano Steps Out: August 2013
http://sopranostepsout.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
All dressed up and everywhere to go. Thursday, August 08, 2013. Well, gang, I've been doing some serious role work, listening to recordings galore and working on my high Fs. The past few days of listening have sold me on a couple things. A: I do not favor the light, tweety sound in a Queen of the Night. Nor do I favor the robot sound. It doesn't have to be like that to be right, people. These are the things I am learning. And washing it down with a lot of seltzer water and iced tea because it is hot.
