Wednesday, December 3, 2008. While we were in the minerals area of the Natural History Museum, Sariah. And Emma would occasionally read the labels of the different minerals and such to Katherine. After a few labels, she started making up her own names for the minerals. I wish I could remember more of them, but the one that I thought was funny was her name for the enormous geode that they had on display. After examining it, she matter-of- factly. Informed us that it was called "The Mystery of the Rock".

That kept her going until we were done making the rounds, but it wore off right at the end when we stopped to trick-or-treat at Aunt Wendy's house, where she zonked out on the couch. But, she ended up with a giant sack full of candy, so it was all worth it.at least from a kid perspective. November 2, 2008 at 8:13 AM. Looks like they had lots of fun. What was Sariah's costume?
