Wandering Observations: Almost Finished
http://kathleenincanada.blogspot.com/2009/04/almost-finished.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. Only a weekend left in Edmonton! As for the flu pandemic, it's not on my mind at the moment, and I don't think I'll be wearing a mask on the plane. I am glad that I thought to buy that Nectarine Mint antibacterial hand gel. When I was last at Bath and Body Works, though! Me, Sabine, Amy, Bonnie and Jun. Nice thing about all the hard work this semester is that it paid off! And, since I don't think anyone from the UofA. I got an A. Be-doing" afternoon by watching Funny Face. Last ra...

Wandering Observations: Calgary Tower
http://kathleenincanada.blogspot.com/2009/04/calgary-tower.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. Last set of overdue pictures from the weekend in Calgary. We had a gorgeous dinner in the revolving restaurant atop Calgary Tower. The longer days of spring meant that we arrived in sunlight at 8pm and watched it set before we left a few hours later. And crème brûlée for dessert! Obviously that's my friend Amy in the picture with me, she's one of the few students who started the program full-time in the fall with me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Last Week of Classes.

Wandering Observations: May 2009
http://kathleenincanada.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 29, 2009. Well, it's been a while since my last post, I know. Jill suggested that I blog, though, so here it is! My posts may be sporadic over the summer just because I'm in Nova Scotia now and the majority of my readers are probably hearing my news from me or via the family gossip line. Here are some pictures from my week in Ontario, including brunch with the family, days wandering the Art Gallery and the Royal Ontario Museum, and Niagara Falls with Louise. Wandering Observations: October 2008
http://kathleenincanada.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Having completed my hat and afghan, I feel I've earned the right to display some pictures. I'm especially proud of my quick knit hat (a design I adapted) The best part is, it's just a rectangular square you knit then fold in half and sew up (so that the points will cover your ears)! If you think those colours are pretty, have a look at my new yarn (for the fair isle hat-scarf-mitten extravaganza)! Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Saturday, October 11, 2008. The Chill Has Set In.

Louise Lives Here: The Amazing, New and Improved Louise
http://louiseryan.blogspot.com/2008/02/amazing-new-and-improved-louise.html
Sunday, February 24, 2008. The Amazing, New and Improved Louise. It's February and I've morphed into a new me since my last update. I think the main stimulus for the accidental transformation was boredom and frustration at being stuck in Sydney saving for my next trip, since everyone who knows me at all knows my inability to carry through with consciously made plans for self-improvement. I didn't realise I was trying to change until people started commenting on it. Step 1. Painting. Since every painter s...

Louise Lives Here: December 2007
http://louiseryan.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 27, 2007. End of 2007.Already? It's coming up to the end of the year and I'm fairly satisfied with how I've finished it and how I'll start the next. I painted not only the hall but the lounge room as well! I've also resumed a love affair with my local library. It's a muffled cocoon away from the world, filled with thousands of books and big sunny windows and arm chairs. And I'm currently on Robert .A. Heinlein's 'The Moon is a Harsh Mistress' - fascinatingly ahead of its time! And huge...

Louise Lives Here: Thailand
http://louiseryan.blogspot.com/2007/10/thailand.html
Tuesday, October 02, 2007. I never posted the pictures from our Thailand holiday. What can I say? It was an oasis. But mainly I'm putting these pictures up to make a definite gap since the last time I wrote and now. I've been feeling a certain sense of wretched guilt whenever I'm reading someone's blog and click on the link to mine, hoping that somehow, miraculously, there will be a new entry written to cover the time-gap since those november photos. But there never is. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
