Coffee Talk and Tea Time. While basking in the beautiful weather (78 degrees! On Tuesday, I ordered an iced almond milk chai tea latte (from Whole Foods) to keep me cool and refreshed while running errands for work. There is nothing better than a chai tea latter when it is warm out and the almond milk only makes it more delicious. Brunch for a Living. Along with the Aperol Spritz's I served some of my favorite brunch items - strawberry scones, quiche, and homemade granola with yogurt. I loved spending the morning preparing all this food, especially when later I was then able to sit down with my friends, a plate full of food, surrounded by friends, and a cool drink in my hand. The One That Makes Your Heart Swoon. You know that pair of ballet flats that you feel like you could live your life in? My first love affair with a pair of flats was a Juicy Couture pair I got for Christmas when I was still in high school. I wore those things out to the point that no one would touch them with a ten-foot pole. The smell. we'll leave it at that. I loved those shoes and had to quickly replace them after the sad day that I had to throw them out. RIP Juicy Flat circa 2007. The Ones I Love.

Not only are they coming for a visit but they picked the first weekend in May to come and really get the authentic Oklahoma experience. I’m planning on sending them a packing list that includes helmets, football pads, suits of armor, the usual. In all seriousness though, now the planning begins! And breakfast at Kitchen.
