Thursday, 30 June 2011. Katies adventures in dress making land part eight. I had such a long day yesterday, what with having to stay at work a bit later for an open evening, and then driving straight to my dress making class until 9pm (luckily, my friend Vicky gave me a yummy cookie to give me a bit of a sugar rush! Monday, 21 January 2013. I am making art. Today is a snow day - horrah! I have no timetable to abide to today. After a leisurely time getting myself out of bed, washed and dressed, the most obvious thing to do seemed to be to have a cup of chai tea and a piece of the chocolate cake that I baked yesterday (we were snowed in and we craved chocolate). I then made the executive decision to get on with some of my own artwork. For myself. For work (just for a change :) ). Maybe it would be best not to know!

Sunday, 31 July 2011. I left my job as a teaching assistant in a primary school, and was given these beautiful. Flowers during the assembly on the last day of term. I was also very lucky to receive these two utterly amazing cards made by the children in the classes I supported in, how cute? On the same day as the last day of term, we drove for three hours to the wonderful Latitude. As you can see, it was rather wet and muddy, but meant that we could release our inner child and splash in some puddles!
